1. Overview

PrepLap is a digital educational and exam-preparation platform that offers access to online learning materials, practice tests, and analytics through subscription-based plans. All our products and services are delivered digitally, with immediate access provided upon successful payment. Therefore, no refunds shall be issued once a subscription has been successfully activated.

2. No Refund Policy

All payments made for subscriptions or digital content on PrepLap are final and non-refundable. This includes — but is not limited to — payments for:

• Monthly, quarterly, or annual subscription plans
• Exam or course access packages
• Learning content, mock tests, and performance analytics
• Any add-ons or premium upgrades

Once a transaction is processed successfully through Razorpay, access to the subscribed plan is granted instantly, making it non-reversible and non-refundable.

3. Exceptions (Technical or Duplicate Transactions Only)

• Duplicate Payment: If a user is charged twice for the same subscription due to a technical glitch or network error, one transaction may be refunded after verification.
• Failed Transaction with Deduction: If an amount is deducted but the subscription is not activated due to payment gateway or server failure, the deducted amount will be refunded or adjusted after confirmation from Razorpay.

⏱ Processing Time: Verified refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method, subject to bank or gateway timelines.
All refund requests must be sent to support@preplap.in within 7 calendar days of the transaction, along with proof of payment.

4. Subscription Auto-Renewal

PrepLap offers subscription plans that renew automatically at the end of the billing cycle unless canceled beforehand. Renewal charges are processed via Razorpay using the same authorized payment method. To stop renewal, cancel before the renewal date through your account settings. No refunds will be made for automatic renewals that were not canceled in time.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your PrepLap subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to premium features until the period ends. Canceling a subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the unused period.

6. Refund Method (If Applicable)

In rare approved cases, refunds will be initiated to the same payment source used for the transaction (Razorpay → card/UPI/netbanking). No cash, wallet, or alternate refunds will be provided. A refund confirmation email will be sent once completed.

7. Disputed Charges

If you believe an unauthorized or erroneous charge has occurred, contact our support team immediately. We will coordinate with Razorpay to investigate. Chargebacks or disputes raised directly with your bank without notifying us first may delay resolution.

8. Payment Gateway

All payments on PrepLap are securely processed via Razorpay, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details. By using PrepLap, you agree to Razorpay’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in addition to ours.

9. Digital Service Nature

All services offered through PrepLap are digital and subscription-based. Once access is granted to digital content (such as tests, notes, videos, or reports), it is considered “used” and hence non-refundable as per Section 2(1)(r) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India).

10. Force Majeure

• Payment gateway downtime
• Bank server failures
• Internet outages or maintenance
• Acts of God, pandemic, or governmental restrictions

12. Governing Law
